Ralph Reynolds part owner of Azzure Denim which is one of the better quality urban clothing companies in my opinion is one of many African American designers in the marketplace. Starting out selling t-shirts at Virginia Beach street corner to $30 million+ a year in business combined between Azzure Denim and Indigo Red. Ralph Reynolds also plays a hand in the development of Shmack Clothing and if I recall a new brand going by the name of Bldg 4 but has yet to release anything under that umbrella. As you can see fashion is his passion with 3 clothing lines that all our somewhat of a success Ralph succeeding in fashion designing wasn’t a mistake for this fashion entrepreneur. Ralph and the family are really doing it. Before starting Azzure Denim Ralph was partners with Ron Perry. Ralph and Ron started the label RP55 (The 1st letter of their names and supposedly their graduation year). The label was fairly popular on this coast, I don’t know how far our West they made it. Rumor has it they went to NY for a hotel Trade show/Buyers meet and ended up writing 170k in orders. Talk about overnight!
