As you know the Global Fashion Network: Where The Apparel Industry Connects is in full effect and growing hourly.

Really I think it is going to be a big hit and really help the Global apparel industry with sourcing contacts and networking within their related field whether apparel,footwear, or textile industry.

I want to give a rundown of some of our new features, but one in particular called Fashion Faceoff, which we will get to later.

As of now users are able to write and publish their own blog, videos (up to 100mb) and pictures. Google Maps is integrated so that users can calculate how far another business/designer/resource is away from their current location. The industry forum and now the Fashion Network is over 1,000 members. You can create events and they will be displayed to everyone within the fashion network so the larger our community becomes the more beneficial it will be to all who join. Imagine 1,000 people knowing about your last fashion show with the click of a button….great promotion for free.

Last but not least is the Fashion Faceoff feature that was just implemented as of today. It will allow you to faceoff/compare your company against other apparel/footwear/textile industry companies to see how you stack up against real world competition voted by the community.

You can create Fashion Faceoffs for Best in Footwear Design for example and give a description on what you want user votes to be judged from: in this case design of course, but it could be what company would you invest your money in, most likely to succeed in the Designer market. You would then enter the users profile name that you want to compare/faceoff with and once they accept it will begin. The duration of the battle is up to you whether you choose hour, day, or a week.

I thought this would definitely spark even more user activity.
