Mr Fashion Industry CEO, Is this blog of yours being turned into a resources center for up and comers wanting to do T-shirts lines ? Did you know that T-shirt people are kind of viewed as” bottom of the food chain ” when grouped together with designers doing other types of fashion ? I think they even call them ” WOATS and GOATS “. Nothin gwrong with starting a blog, just call it a How to Start a T-Shirt Apparel line form Scratch, thats all.

No it is definetly not…our blog is just starting from the bottom and moving to the top…start with the basics which is t-shirts, hats and moving on to jeans, jackets, and whatever else. Can’t give you everything all at once…if you attend fashion school (like I did) you don’t start with jeans and jackets in college you start with “Basic Sewing” which is t-shirts and polos. Anything you learn is a progression you never start from the top and work you way to the bottom you begin with the foundation and bulid the bridge. Maybe you are more advanced then some of our readers and thats why you feel this way…No?

I just thought that by linking up to every screenprinter and blank producer you were not fostering much manufacturing or design know how.Didn’t see too many fabric or trim suppliers on the list .I look forward to watching your progression as you build up to the higher apparel categories.Hey I might even have to comment on some posts should you permit me to.

the industry page has more than just screen printers and blanks producers and I always approve everybody’s comments good or bad…it’s part of the blog world a true community with real opinions and if you read the article it says “updated hourly” we are going to have everything from garment mills (raw material) to overseas manufacturers.thanks,Fashion Industry Ceo
