Preview of New Layout for Dobizo

This is a preview of the new layout for Dobizo, forum and fashion network (Wish I could’ve received a bigger picture, but this will have to do for now). They will all be combined as one site so that the functionality and navigation will flow more smoothly for users.
As you can see we stayed with similar colors, but the layout is totally different and the three parts of the site blog, forum, network will look identical in color and format. They will all serve their distinct purpose to make this site full surface.
What are your thoughts on the layout thus far?

looks pretty good from what i see, but the only critique that i have at first glance would be maybe to incorporate more visual elements, as far as pictures, and various design elements that could enhance the site even more so.

Yeah i didn’t want to make it too “fashiony” just straight to the point and more professional…so that users can get to the info..that is what I pushed to the developers…and signing users up for the newsletters so they want miss a post.
Once the new site launches we will be updating 6-10 times per day and even more once I hire some writers.

yea no prob, i was gona mention that too, I agree though, you are are pushing an informative site so in that aspect that layout makes sense. Maybe for the fashion network portion, it could a lil more visually enhanced. But overall as said before it already looks great!

I like it….but as some one said there should be some type of visual element to besides the layout
