Dobizo is now number 1 for the search term “Clothing Lines” on the number 1 search engine Google! Hopefully Yahoo will soon follow suit.

I was just writing down some ideas and speaking with some designers about the Dobizo Network and I know some of my best creations come from brainstorming with other folks about the situation at hand.

So what better way than to ask the people who I cater to the Dobizo Blog readers!

Let’s say you…yes you owned Dobizo Network the blog, forum, and the fashion network. What would you do to make it better or worse or just to change it to suit your needs?

We’re really serious about making this the destination for the fashion industry to connect, learn and share contacts and experience.

There are about to be a lot of changes for the better on the Dobizo Network with the design, layout, and all around function of the site.

Everything from how the articles are wrote to when, where, why, and who they are wrote by. I want to make it as productive and useful as possible for all the readers. If you notice I’ve slowed down the posting the last few days mostly because I’m changing around some things and writing a plan for the future of Dobizo and thinking about bringing some people on board for the long haul.

With these changes we will produce more of everything from articles to Ceo Audios. I want to get to a point where we have at least one Ceo Audio maybe two per week. Articles will stay at around 6-10 per day, but with more detail and from personal experiences not from research and other articles.

Dobizo is hardwork no matter if many of you believe it or not. Many think I’m lucky to be able to write a blog, connect with people, and have company’s sponsor my website. In a since I am, but it took a year or so to get to this point.

I never started off thinking I would make money from writing articles, but the main reason was to help designer entrepreneurs not have to face many of the challenges and dead ends I face trying to start a clothing line. Many know if you ask most industry people advice they will give you the run around or only give you basic information, but none of their secrets or how to’s without any compensation to say the least.

I can tell you this as long as I keep getting comments like this I will keep writing articles and they can only get better. Many people leave me appreciative comments, but none have topped this one:

By reader demand I had to turn the comments back on. Most articles can now receive comments, but I’m having to go back and turn comments on-on over 180 post so bare with me. They should all be back on before the end of the week.

Dobizo is switching over to Feedburner and if you are already subscribed to the newsletter than you need to switch over to this method by either signing up for the new RSS Feed or Email Subscription either way is fine. If you sign up for the Email their is a double opt-in meaning you have to check your email for the confirmation.

We will be sending out exclusive Ceo Audios and Articles to our dedicated subscribers before their posted on the blog and some may never be posted for all the readers only our subscribers and of course it is 100% free.

As of now we have over 2,000 email subscribers and hopefully we can make at least 1,500 switch over, because the old service will only be active another month or so.

I just wanted to announce that we have reached the 1000th post on the Dobizo forums with well over 1,000 members and growing. Lately the activity in the forum has been slacking compared to how it usually is and the main problem is because of me and my lack of participation due to writing content and working on other side projects, plus being a little under the weather .

Either way through it all the network continues to grow and will only get stronger with every reader that we acquire through word of mouth, subscribers and search engine traffic.

You will definitely see some changes to the forum by Monday as far as the categories and what not it will be a much better display of topics.

Just a little inspiration don’t take it to heart and think I’m telling you to blow your money on expensive cars that will depreciate in value soon as you drive them off the lot….okay.

If you remember Monarchy Clothing Collection was bought out by Hartmarx a couple of months back for $12 million in cash after only three years in business. Eric Kim decided to splurge a little bit this year and had a little car show in front of his Monarchy Office.

I have decided to stop comments on the blog for a few reasons. I would like to hear your opinion still considering this will be the last post with comments. ( I will stop them at the end of the day)

The number one reason is because Dobizo is much more than a blog now and has expanded to become a Network for the Fashion Industry and to me comments and opinions are better left for the forum were they are easier to moderate and found by users. That takes up a considerable amount of time to go through 300 comments and only 20 are real and the others are spam.

Also I noticed a decline in comments once I setup the forum and fashion network and that is what I expected because most like to voice their opinion in a forum because it is a more discussion based setting. This doesn’t mean you cannot give ME your opinion there is always my email and I’m on the fashion network and forum.

I think it is safe to say we’re now number 1 for how to start a clothing line and succeeding in the fashion industry on the internet.

Averaging around 200-350 visitors per hour and growing every week

Next is number 1 for the fashion industry. The graph below only shows Dobizo and the other top blog on succeeding in the fashion industry and as you can see we have passed them in a little less than a year. This is a great accomplishment considering the other sites have been out for three years or more and to believe I started this blog not knowing anything about websites or optimization.
