I’m realizing how it is to be back into the fashion industry again full swing. A bunch of bullshitters and naysayers, but either way were on track to make this clothing company a reality.

First off I was having trouble getting a videographer and thanks to a cousin of mine I was able to get that lined up and the camera is borrowed from Art Institute of Atlanta so I have everything working at the price of free, but shooting the interviews and lining up dates with the videographer is another story.

As you may have noticed the name I originally planned to use ‘Broken English’ (Which I loved by the way) is already taken by this clothing line. I’m still going with something similar along the lines of ‘Plain English’ or something similar. If you contacted me about trading services to help with the production of this line (graphic, apparel designers) I will get back to you as soon as possible had to put some things on hold while I get settled in Atlanta.

The documentary is on its way and everything is/was looking good until I haven’t received any response pass the initial ‘Yes i would love to help out the documentary’ from many users who said they could lend their services. A few meaning two or three have responded the ones that haven’t you know who you’re (Email fred@dobizo.com). Matter of fact I took a big chance with one of the graphic designers being a newbie and very young in age, but I’ve never let age be a factor in my decision making process talent is talent.

I have some interviews in place with a few stores in the Atlanta area already The Standard, Ginza boutique, USA Boutique, Metro Park, and Dream which are all stores I could see the brand ‘Broken English’ working with.

Nonetheless we still need some dedicated graphic and apparel designers amongst other things. So if you’re interested email me fred@dobizo.com so we can get this documentary under way. Expect to see some new video/audio interviews in the next coming weeks. Probably be the first time many of you will see face behind Dobizo :) .

I’ve been brainstorming and thinking about what type of clothing company I want to start and for a second I was going to do something way out of my field and create a upscale womens wear line, but I wouldn’t enjoy the process or the market.

So I’m going to stick with where my heart is and that is menswear, but I want to create more of a premium/contemporary lifestyle line along the lines of Monarchy, Affliction, Kid Robot but with the crossover appeal of LRG/Ed Hardy…I have many ideas, but I will boil it down to make it a fulfilling clothing line.

I decided to stay with in my lane, because it is a market that I know well and most likely appeal to the bulk of our audience here on Dobizo Network. I actually have the name for the clothing company already, but thought it would be good to see what many of you thought about some of the other fashion names I came up with. (Just some of many)
