Redline refers to a colored warp thread that is run through the selvage edge of denim fabric. This is not indication of the quality of the jeans so much as it is a signature of the maker, and a way for Cone Mills (textile manufacturer) to differentiate between the denim they made for different companies. Lee denim had a green (or sometimes blue) warp thread on their selvage, and Wrangler used yellow.

Redline was also the signature line by Levi that contained the “Big E“, but were all produced before 1971.

In the picture below you can see the redline running up the selvage edge:

This was done by Skyler, our President.
Thank you for the opportunity !

Why?d you start (insert the name of your clothing brand)?

We started CEER!US Apparel because Keith and I were tired of going to shows in the Virginia Beach area with poor turn outs, so we decided to start a promotions company. After a few months, we thought about making some shirts to help cover the cost of doing free promoting. Well the shirts were a hit, and as time passed we became a full clothing line obtaining talent and the business necessary to become this entity.

Why did u start ktized geans?

Let me begin by saying the actual name is “kriminaltized geans”. I shorten it for easier access to the site and the spelling, but yeah I always loved fashion. I was rapping at first and the Tees were for “promo” use/advertisement. It was the logo for my record co. “criminaltized enterprise”and It was spelled with a “C” I changed it to the “k” spelling because it looked better and had a unique feel. Anyways, people seemed more interested in the shirts than the music. The shirts were receiving an immediate response. People were asking for them in specific sizes and colors. I began to have visions of other designs and ideas, I couldn’t sleep. I thank God for giving it to me. The name “kriminaltized” is “MY WORD” I am the creator of that! It feels like it’s my son (the logo). I wanted to see it become bigger than me because I just own it.It’s not for just a certain race it is for anyone that can relate. So I wanted it to represent a specific class of “G” a “kriminaltized G”.
