First off I will donate my earnings to a charity…read the post for the reasons why.

I was reading over some previous articles and came across an article on generating traffic for your new clothing website and they mentioned promoting on a community called Digg. If your not familiar with Digg…it is a site where you submit articles and they are voted on by a community and promoted in rankings. It can definitely generate traffic to your clothingsite if anybody would actually vote on any of the clothing websites. Most of the front page, second, or even 9th page articles are about Apple, Ipods, Computers, and I seen an article about a whale exploding. Never have I seen a fashion site close to the front page (maybe I missed it).

I’m going to submit this article too digg and let’s see if we can get this article to the front page. I’m guessing most digg users are web-savvy, internet junkies (like myself), but do they still have some kind of sense of fashion and interest in the industry as a whole. Maybe if we break the chain it will open up doors and create a different lane of exposure for sites that are not tech related or about apple computer.

So I had to break out a new category for this article called a Challenge. Now what I need you guys to do all you lurkers and everyday readers is too simply click the digg this button at the bottom of the page and submit the article for me by clicking on the little guy with the shovel that says (Vote for the cause here!). To motivate you I will donate a certain percentage of earnings from the Ceo Audio for this week to a charity through my paypal account. (I will show the donation which will be automatically deducted by paypal) The percentage depends on the amount of votes the article gets. I will give 1percent for each vote and another 1percent for each comment on this article and two percent for both. So if you comment and vote that is 2percent of the earnings. Hopefully we can get a 100 votes (From our community) and I will give away a 100% of the Ceo Audio earnings for this week! If it goes pass a 100 votes from our community I will start digging into my google adsense earnings and pay out also. Preferably I want to donate too a cancer organization, because I’ve had family members who have suffered from the illness.

let the voting begin,

I’m pretty sure you can all take out your time for a GOOD cause because the votes=$dollars$ for charity.

Just my way of giving back and getting the readers involved.

Fred

    as soon as one real digger sees your plan about money for diggs, you will be burried. no matter if you give it to charity or to whoever. i mean you are planing to submit the scipt for gaming digg. the idea is that good sorties make it to the top. anyone who tried to undermine this will make the diggers angry. or maybe they will ban your whole domain which is even worse.

    nice idea for your blog…but as far as digg…I read the site everyday and there are plenty of sites that make it on the front page and they are far from good…the ones that are usually on the front page are from the same diggers and they have more power in their vote…I read how some even email and pay top diggers to vote on articles and they do!….Most fashion based sites don’t stand a chance and I vote on them they are interesting but the same sites make it to the front page time after time again.

    i wish i could get a frontpage digg, but i’m thinking about some crazy idea and then push it. i mean once you are on the front page you want the people to link to your page because there is something special. that makes the whole benefit of a digg. a frontpage digg can bring you 100.000 visitors. but if you have a good story at the same time, people will link to you and you can get as many as 30.000 per day. anywys i wish you good luck with the digg, and of course there should be more fashion in digg.

    thanks …I feel you on that aspect makes alot of sense maybe we together can come up with a unique story with fashion and benefit together…let me know.

    Here’s an idea of something that’s diggable (haha, like the diggable planets)

    From what I understand, you have more CEO Audio content than is posted up currently. Why don’t you transcribe one of those, and attach a mini plug for the CEO Audio product. If its something interesting, like someone really eccentric, offensive, insightful, etc., I think it’ll raise in the ranks. Also, I’d imagine it’d help you sell quite a few more CEO Audios.

    Also, I’ve seen on another blog, at the bottom of the article it says “Digg This” and it also says how many times the article has been Digged. If you install that feature into that article, it should make it much easier and more desirable for readers to Digg your ish, nahmean?

    I am trying to find out why there are cash flows in the fashion industry? This might not be the place but i’m trying to get help with my project. I also need to explain the problems a company experiences when it encounters the cash flow problems.
