I know some of these daily definition probably remind you of some rather “duh” moments, but some of these definitions are ones most don’t know no matter how simple it may seem to some readers and since this site is about starting from scratch we try to cover all basis and eventually we will…I’m in it for the long haul.
Bleeding is usually associated with coloured clothing losing its color when in contact with liquid usually hot liquids. (Think about when washing colored clothes/cold water and alike colors) Also part of the reason for pre-washing textiles so that the percentage of color loss and shrinkage is decreased once the final product is in the hand of the consumers. Most will make note of it on the apparel tag if it is a pre-washed garment or if you can expect a certain percentage of shrinkage and may need to buy a size up.
