If you remember the?fashion designer profile?I wrote on Giorgio Armani yesterday than you may recall when I pointed out that his clothing line has 12,000 points of sale or sometimes called point of purchase. More than most clothing companies will ever have to say the least, but a point of sale is anywhere that your clothing line or product for any business matter can be purchased by a consumer or any action where a transaction with your product can take place. From my understanding this would include websites and retail store fronts. I might be wrong though it could require a physical location…someone enlighten me if I am wrong
.
I did a little research and it seems that it can?be a business or anyplace that the product or service can be purchased. That seems to include a website assuming that there is a transaction that takes place and the location would be online.
How many points of sale does your clothing company have?
