Thanks to Thom the forum moderator for giving this definiton of ROT.
To The Nines Maternity asked the question :
What do the terms R.O.T. and D/R mean in the context of buying wholesale fabric? For example, a fabric header that I have says this:
Put Up: 20 yards D/R - 100/50 yards R.O.T.
Answer:
R.O.T : “Rolled on the twos” meaning it is a double ply roll. 50 yds double ply or 100 yds single ply. Header should also give width of goods. If goods are 30 ” wide, the roll contains 100 yds, or 50 yds at 60 “.
