Daily definition of Quality Control Agent is to make sure that the quality is consistent and up to the standards of samples provided or quality assured to your company. A quality control agent basically makes sure product quality standards are met by the manufacturer.

These type of agents will definitely come in handy when/if your company decides to move production abroad to a overseas manufacturer and overlooking the factory and production process is out of your reach and it is not in your budget to travel that far. If you produce domestically you could overlook the process yourself or have someone in-house visit the facility during the production of your garments. Also some people have factories send them photos of the process as it happens, but every manufacturer might not agree to those tedious terms during production.
