Trend Forecasting:
Believe it or not their are people who get paid to gather information on the current trends and then develop design and color stories for specific markets. Some sell books that will give fabrics, colors, trims, and other specifics on what will be popular in the upcoming year in spring/summer or fall/winter. Major lines have their on staff to evaluate trends and colors, but investing in a book could do a small clothing brand some good. Just a thought because I made use of the FREE books we had available while in college. I stress the word FREE because this information can cost you anywhere north of $400.

wgsn.com does fashion forecasting for a premium fee…and anybody who gives those services will charge at a premium fee except for the community here at http://www.dobizo.com
