Ralph Lauren celebrated the forty year anniversary of his empire of a clothing company Polo Ralph Lauren. The Polo brand is probably older than most entrepreneurs who read this blog .

With this post I kick off the addition of a new category titled “Inspiration” which will be post that well inspire us. I mean I know we all agree that reaching the 40th year of any business is a big accomplishment, but a fashion company causes for even more celebration considering most don’t make it 5-10 years.

Ralph Lauren celebrated during the New York Fashion Week. Press is saying it was one of the most extravagant events during fashion week and attendance to the party was at 500 guest.

Ralph Lauren chose to hold the event in Central Park’s Conservatory Garden, and was a black-tie event that drew famous designers like Donna Karan (DKNY) and Vera Wang. Fashion week was attended by designer brands such as Zac Posen (See video here), BcBg and clothing companies including Sean John, and Baby Phat.
