I would highly suggest working or interning to gain sales experience, because I think that is where many startup company’s fail.
Contemporary fashion women’s line Catherine Malandrino has an open intern position in the sales department for their Holiday/Resort 2008 collection. You will be involved in every aspect of how the fashion department works and operates.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are required as well as a strong desire to be in the fashion industry. Proficiency in excel is a plus! Must have a good personality, maintain a professional demeanor at all times, work well with others and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Must be flexible and not afraid of working long hours around market times. At least 3 day availability. Interviewing ASAP, internships start soon.

im trying to start a clothing label, i have ideas but i don’t know how to draw that well, so ive decided to hire someone to draw out my ideas on paper and get them silk sreeened? how do i establish a contract and what rights do i have once i pay him for the art?
