Desert Blue a designer jeans apparel company has an open internship position in the sales and marketing department. There looking for someone with a little fashion sense, professional appearance and friendly disposition.

This is a part time and unpaid position, but in exchange for your dedicated commitment, you will receive a well rounded experience in marketing/sales in the fashion industry. The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop great references for his/her industry resume.

The intern position is in Burbank, but you will sometimes travel to Santa Monica (California). You are required to be available 16-20 hours per week and available for at least two months and able to start immediately.

Responsibilities on the job:

• Assist with marketing campaign
• Assist with gathering of information used to develop company
• Research and analysis for sales and marketing database
• Involvement in development of new marketing and sales strategies
• Assist with sending out marketing promotions
• Assist in building and maintaining client and customer relations

Intern requirements:

• Must be a current college student or graduate in Business, Marketing,
  or Communications
• Excellent researching skills
• Creative marketing intuition
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Efficient organization skills
• Detailed oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Internet savvy
• Ability to multi-task
• Self motivated and eager to learn
• Knowledge of Word, Excel
