Lily McNeal is a contemporary knitwear company located in the fashion district of Los Angeles California. They’re looking for a full-time intern that will work with their company in the development and marketing department for six months and is paid $10/hour, which is a great opportunity to learn and get paid within the fashion industry. Details of what your job responsibilities will be are below:

Responsibilities:

Development (30 hours per week):
Assist with development of initial specs for each season

1. Sketch technical flats
2. Create all styles in Access and send out to the factory
3. Log receipt of prototypes
4. Participate in fittings; assist with specs & sending out fit comments

Maintain all development binders

1. historical issues
2. lab dips
3. trim approvals

Log receipt of sales samples

1. Grade specs along with Final Development Spec
2. Fit and weigh sales samples

Marketing and Merchandising (10 hours per week):
Assist with creation and maintenance of line sheets

1. create drawn line sheet
2. layout photo line sheets

Maintain web collections by uploading styles and content
Log Public Relations credits
Assist with photo shoot
Assist with sample sale
Research fashion industry trends

You will need to be skilled in technical design, sketching ability, illustrations and graphic designs (Microsoft, Photoshop, Illustrator) and knowledge of specs and fittings. For more information about Lily McNeal please visit their online store and website.
