Expect to see the Adidas Shoe Logo on a urban fashion line expected to launch this year 2007. I took a look at some of the pieces from the Adidas Urban Collection and they all seem to have the retro inspiration that I wrote about in Retro 80’s Look is in for Street Wear.

Pieces of the Adidas Urban Collection pay tribute 2 basketball legends with phrases such as Kareem Abdul Jabar in the Bruce Lee film “Game of Death”. Nba team cities grace the back of track jackets (As featured above) and the Adidas three stripe shoe logo on the left front chest of the jacket. Custom Adidas shoes are paired with the matching city and jacket as featured below. For the most part t-shirts, warm up tops, track jackets and the signature Adidas logo on hoodies make up the Urban Collection from Adidas. Can’t wait to see more from the collection, because from the looks of the track jacket it is going to be a force to reckon with. I wouldn’t expect this with what they already have going on as far as producing better shoes and the abcd camp. I’m not sure if it has already been released or what, but you can check for updates and availablity of the line on Shop Adidas website.

What do you think of the line? Is Adidas Sneaker Company going in the right direction or should they stick to what they know best soccer and running shoes?
