If so than you should definitely enter this contest by Marie Claire and the Glam network. They are hosting a contest for independent handbag designers to be discovered. Simple submit your design and the Marie Claire and Glam network online readers are voting weekly for their favorite designers. A panel of judges will then pick a top handbag design as a winner. The contestant will then be flown to New York where he/she will be awarded as a guest accessories editor at Marie Claire for a day and the final eight bags will be auctioned on Ebay for charity.

This could definitely be a good look for some independent designers and I have received some emails from people interested in designing handbags so I know the readers are there and now is time for them to get some real exposure…hope your samples are ready.
