Counterfeit clothing seizures at the Los Angeles and Long Beach, California port continue to rise with Levis, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Coach and Nike being the most bootlegged of brands coming through the port. No Scout Union Apparel on the list

Last month alone U.S. Customs and Border Protection authorities seized more than $6 million dollars in counterfeit merchandise from China coming from the combined ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
A fact that most people don’t look at is the potential hazardous situation of counterfeit goods and that they don’t go through the same tests and are not certified safe by Underwriters Laboratories labels, which are the labels you see on electric charged, hazardous or potentially flammable products.

I wonder what handbags are of better quality - Gucci or Fendi? What’s your opinion?

I would say Fendi bags are better, handsdown.
As for the bootleggers and getting busted, forget the fact that none of this stuff is tested by Underwriters Laboratory, the sheer amount of money being taken out of legitimate hands is staggering.
I know one tactic that seems to be working is to let kockoffs thru to the retail level, and once on a retail floor, then confiscate and prosecute the guilty parties. The economic impact at this level is far greater.
