I found this internship while browsing Craigslist and it seems interesting none the less. The fashion internship is in menswear and is available as of July….so that is now! The company is DDC LAB, which after some research turned out to be a part of DDC USA a?design studio located in New York that has worked with some of industry giants in developing tailored fits for their clients. DDC LAB is the technological side of the company where they develop performance enhanced garments that have thermal qualities with enhanced breath-ability with much, much more in development.
The internship?will require you?to be at least comfortable using Adobe Illustrator. Tasks will include sourcing, styling for photoshoots, sample production, and cover all other areas of fashion design. Sourcing trims in the?New York garment district, developing flats?& line sheets, and creating garment specifications. If you would like more info on this internship contact DDC LAB at lex@ddclab.com?with a resume, and cover letter and sample of your CAD Illustrator flats (small .jpg)

I know these folks at DDC LAB.Owned by a CDN guy and his wife Savania . Whatever they teach you there about dealing with suppliers and supplier relationships, do the exact opposite. Their reputation is legendary in NYC and growing. Yes, they did work for some big companies in the past, but ask who is on the current client list. I imagine an internship there might be rather unpleasant. See for yourself.
