Yes it is true no matter what you believe :). Los Angeles is the home of the largest fashion district in the US of A and employs the most people in the apparel manufacturing industry…nope it’s not New York. If you never been there and are in location I suggest you take a visit and tell me what it is like.

The Los Angeles fashion district?consist of fashion industry related business serving consumers of the trade and the general public. It is located in downtown Los Angeles and spans 90 blocks?full of?apparel industry designers, agents, students, stylist, wholesaler buyers, and retailers. The?LA fashion district also publishes a?quarterly newsletter that is available on the site named Fashion Files.??The newsletter highlights prominent businesses and styles in the LA Fashion District by Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. You can head out to the LA Fashion District when they are hosting their next Market Week, which happens to be right around the corner?on August 10-14, 2007 displaying Holiday/Resort 2007.

I really want to suggest that all of you visit the site it is full of information on the fashion industry and the events within the LA Fashion District.
