Fashion Focus Chicago 2007 is their version of Fashion Week for designers wishing to show off their seasonal offerings to a packed house of fashion forward viewers, including retailers, buyers, and other city bound (or not) designers in one convenient display. Fashion Week in Chicago is only in its third year due to it returning this year after a hiatus. The event will go as I have listed below:

The Scheduled Events:

• Gen Art?s Fresh Faces in Fashion ? Tuesday, October 9

• Chicago Sister Cities International Program World Fashion Chicago ? Wednesday, October 10

• Apparel Industry Board?s Chicago Is?Red Hot!!! ? Thursday, October 11

• Designers of Chicago Fashion Show Presented by Macy?s ? Friday, October 12

• The Allure of Couture ? Sunday, October 14

This event will feature designers of urban wear clothing lines, avant guarde and couture designers. Another plus of the event is that Macy’s has agreed to purchase some of the designers of the fashions to place in their store and not just for consignment, but actually write and pay for orders! Hey that’s kind of a big deal. The Chicago Fashion Week is scheduled for October 9-14, 2007 and if your in the area I would suggest you attend the event.
