If you want to find out from an expert than this meeting is definitely for your apparel brand. The Los-Angeles export center is setting up a meeting with manufacturers and a Hong Kong commercial-specialist from the U.S. Commercial service Swee-Keng Cheong.
This is an appointment only meet up and Swee-Keng will be in the Los Angeles and Orange counties area July 18?20 to talk with companies about expanding their sales to Hong Kong. There are two possible government sites for companies to meet up with Swee-Keng one at 444 S. Flower St. in downtown Los Angeles and another at 11150 Olympic Blvd. in West Los Angeles. Meetings can also be set up at your company offices.
If I was trying to expand overseas I would definitely take the chance to meet with a specialist in the area. If your clothing company is interested than you will need to email bobby.hines@mail.doc.gov with your telephone number, business address, and if possible company websites.
For more information, contact Bobby Hines, international-trade specialist at the U.S. Department of Commerce, at (213) 894-4231.
