I originally wrote about this movie on the old Apparel Blog in the process of moving the blog from http://apparelblog.dobizo.com to www.dobizo.com. Anway I posted the old article below for your reading pleasures nothing big just a little preview of the movie. When I wrote about it I received many emails about people wanting to know where to purchase it. You can now purchase it here directly through Amazon.
A lot of soon to be designer/label owners would love to know the formula to the answer. Well here it is Ego Killer entertainment and Gilyard MFG have compiled interview/reviews from some of the most sought after brands and put them on one detailed very informative dvd.
Some of the interviews are from: Mighty Healthy, Akademiks, Digital Gravel, LRG, Panther Media Group, 10 Deep, Mecca, Gilyard, and many more.
This is a must-see if you have any plans of venturing into the urban/street wear market of the fashion industry.

After seeing your post on your blog. i went ahead and finally purchased this video. And for the most part it is worth it. Sometimes you wish the filmmakers had been a bit more professional than just using the mic on a high priced camcorder. Sometomes you can’t fully understand what someone is saying for their voice being effected by their environment. So many of these guys are interviewed from a distance and in spaces that aren’t great for recording voices.
Lots of great information, you get plenty more pointers in the extras section from people that work for 555 Soul, Akademiks, Digital Gravel, 10 Deep and more.
All in all I say four out of five stars…for the voice problems are overshadowed by the great amount of information received.
