According to WWD laborers in Cambodia and Bangladesh were among the large number of apparel and industry workers groups that were subjected last year to human rights violations including: killings, torture, and beatings. just for trying to defend their basic human rights.

Sometimes it seems like we’re so busy looking for terrorist amongst other things in Iraq when the real terrorist are the people we converse and speak with everyday.

    This bit of information is just the tip of the iceberg when reporting on worker exploitation (if murder, beatings, torture qualify for exploitation) .

    Somehow these two countries got fingered but you can also add China, India, Viet Nam, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kenya to name just a few. I would need to get out the atlas to complete the list.

    You condone such activity when you buy some goods made in these countries . Don’t blame the countries themselves, but he people and companies that place production orders in these regions.
