Yesterday May 2, 2006 finally marked the launch of the Pastry Shoe collection according to YBF.

The pastry footwear line made their debut last night in New York. For all the emails I received about these shoes…they will be available on Drjays in a few weeks. This is one of the celebrity (I guess they are celebs) lines that I actually think was well thought out and has some substance to it. As far as the target audience and the direction of the line. The Pastry collection actually fills a void for a comfortable quality athletic shoe that doesn’t sacrifice style in the process…in my opinion.
What do you guys think is it all hype or anybody could’ve came out with the idea and built a sustainable business?

I was thinkin about that idea as well. The really isn’t a shoe market (in my opinion) that caters to what women want. .so yes there is a void, to be filled. As far as the simmons sisters pastry shoeline, its cool, and congrats to them on takin there idea to the next level, but im not personally digin the style. . which means. .ther’s still room for me (to be continued. . .), but we will see how this all plays out. . best of luck to them!

Well of course anyone could have come up with the idea. But the point is they didn’t! I think that the line comes from the daughters of Run Athletics will help to catupult the line. I also believe the It’s a great idea becasue “performance” shoe or not women want sneakers that look good! The fact that they can be used athletically is of a course a bonus. But these shoes will sell themselves based on aesthetics alone. Great job to the girls. Now where can I get a peek?????? oh and all the free publicity certainly can’t hurt any…….

I think the laungh of making a sneaker for women was a great idea. When I go looking for sneakers i can never find something cute and comfortable for the ladies. I take my hat off to Angela and Vanessa for doing a great job on the Pastry Sneaker. I believe that it was a great idea, with a great concept. I am a lady of class and I’m definitly loving the sneakers. Keep up the good work and God Bless.

omgee i love these grls they are the best & very smart. pastry’s are the best!!!!… i wanna b jus like them especially angela.
