As the fight against counterfeiters and bootleggers continue there has been another major bust with boosters of luxury branded clothing.

Finally they were indicted then arrested after pushing more than 300,000 pieces of luxury branded counterfeit apparel ranging from handbags and wallets, with an estimated value surpassing the $100 million mark. As suspected the brands were constructed in China and this is definitely a concern brought to attention before by the US for China to increase their surveillance and border control on counterfeit goods, but it still continues to be one of the leading exporters/manufacturers of the faulty goods.

The two of the involved parties in the luxury counterfeit chain were arrested on United States grounds in New York and the other in Las Vegas. With the arrest came the seizure of their assets that they most likely attained from the sales of the replica goods, which included 29 bank accounts and 3 New York properties and over $16 million in sales from the luxury goods (Gucci, Coach, Burberry and much more).
