Wholesale prices on men’s and boy’s clothing prices rose in march as compared to the previous month by 0.2% and 1% from the same time last year. The increase is only relevant for apparel manufactured in the US and is caused by rising prices on fabric and goods used to produce garments for men’s and boys apparel. Finished fabric used to produce pants and woven shirts were sold for 1.7% higher this year in March compared to a year ago. Although they’re some goods that posted price declines including knit shirts and underwear which both seen a slight decline.
