New Era Caps launched a new global ad campaign titled “Are you part of the New Era”. Establishing the connection between caps and the individuals expression and help clarifying their tag line “New Era Fits”. They are doing a mobile marketing tour also and point of sale interaction with the customers.

The reason why I’m saying it is a great idea mainly because I think they are trying to connect with their customer and get a feel of who the New Era customer of today is and why they purchase New Era caps over the competition (not much competition). Once they know this they can create more products to their consumers individual tastes and cater more to their target market.

If you could connect with your customer and find out who wants to wear your clothing and why before launching your clothing line. You could have a clearer understanding of who needs your product and more of what kind of product they need. At the same time you would be carving out your niche in the fashion marketplace.
