To help increase the shopping foot traffic to all five boroughs of New York Mayor Bloomberg is in the process of eliminating all apparel tax and footwear also. Taxpayers spend an estimated $110 million a year on those taxes alone. This is a move Mayor Bloomberg came upon with top retailers in order to help boost the retail sector of the state. Before any of the above will go into affect it will require the approval from the state Legislature and Governor Eliot Spitzer.

    To bad im in California i would love no tax.That will certainly get my money.
