Rapper young jeezy has made pieces of his clothing line 8732 formerly named USDA available through the rocawear online shop.
Apparently he says he wants his clothing line to be very exclusive and hard to get. (Who doesn’t nowadays) They also have plans to collaborate with up and coming fashion designers with the line so their probably looking for some young talented fresh faces to join the team. I remember one of the first shirts from his line the snowman which was one of the most copied designs EVER in urban fashion and was a success, but nothing to build a line off of. The current offerings include better quality jackets, shirts, sweat tops and jeans. It was no better than the many designers who make millions off of heat transferred shirts with hood references, but it sold and in business to a lot of people thats all that matters.
In my opinion I’m getting tired of seeing rappers launch clothing lines with no thought put into it at all. P. Diddy and Jay-z are the only ones that did it right all the other lines were half thought out and lacked creativity-there sales (in comparison with other rapper labels) showed it.
