Social Awearness is?an eco-friendly clothing company that has an internship possibility for all you treehugging designer-entrepreneurs. I have to say from the description that this internship could be very interesting and you could leave with some new insight if they live up to the tasks description.
First a little bit about the company Social Awearness, which is a Santa Monica based clothing company dedicated toward promoting alternate energies through the influence of fashion. They make?activewear for the Treehuggers!
The internships is for Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer the dead line is on December 12, 2007.
Task include learning about all aspects of the fashion industry, including creative design layout, layout, computer design and production integration, marketing, production, and sales. Interns will finish work on a per project basis whenever your schedule permits, but you must complete at least two full days per week!
Fashion interns will be trained in every step of production and will be encouraged to present your own designs? and oversee their production. All accepted interns will be trained beforehand.
If you are an interested candidate then send resumes to jobs@7ate9.com with the subject line “fashion intern”.
