I thought this was a pretty innovative idea for a trade show, considering that most shows don’t make use of computers at least in the exhibitors case. If you can remember we reviewed Texworld USA a couple of months back in June.

One textile show beginning to be innovative with the release of I-Tex at the next Texworld show on September 17 to 20. I-Tex is a virtual display of the fabric database available at the Texworld trade show. The service will allow buyers of textile to preview the selections by criteria such as composition, delivery dates, and prices.

In the near future they hope to catalogue the entire inventory from the exhibitors available at the Tex World Textile Show.

Now if maybe the Apparel Trade Shows could have a way for the buyers to browse all available clothing lines by size, price, and styles from the comfort of a desktop and a computer. They could choose the few they actually like and meet their criteria then go around checking for the quality of the garments weeding out the fashion lines that just don’t appeal to their target customers.

I think this is a great idea. Why not make things a bit more easy or “comfortable” as you say. Like the old saying goes “Work smart not hard”
