Dallas Market Center, which we reported on earlier this week is in talks to produce a west coast textile show that will rival the Material World West in development by Urban Expositions has released show dates and the location.

Dallas Market Center textile show will be held at Los Angeles Convention Center twice a year the first show in 2009 on April 21-23 and the second October 13-15 the dates were confirmed by DMC’s president and CEO Bill Winsor and Cindy Morris COO.

Shows have been planned 10 years ahead at the LA Convention Center and is called GlobalTex, which will be endorsed by the Textile Association of Los Angeles and all members will get a discount when attending.

Material World West held by Urban Expositions have plans for their first show on September 30-October 2, 2009 at the Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles. The show is an official event of the AAFA (American Apparel & Footwear Association) an apparel & textile trade group.
