ASR Tradeshows (Action Sports Retailers) www.asrbiz.com-is a trade show held in San Diego and one in Huntington Beach three times a year. Most exhibitors display clothing that relates to the Action Sports arena (snowboarding, swim, skate, and surf).The show brings together 500 brands and 1500 booths ranging from brands like Lrg to RVCA. I personally have never experienced this show firsthand as an exhibitor being that my lines have been predominantly street wear or ?urban? (not too say this show is not right for street wear or urban). They also pre screen your line to make sure ASR is the right show for your brand and too make sure you reach full potential while exhibiting their, otherwise you could end up presenting your line to a room full of uninterested buyers! During the show they have live demonstrations of different sports in the action sports industry and it is an exciting show, but still upholds a certain level of professionalism. Basic booth prices start at $2,000+, but is well worth the experience and contacts you could gain from exhibiting at ASR. Overall the show is fun, exciting , and even action packed with a certain level of professionalism and well worth the price tag do too their long standing history in the trade show industry.
