Pay no mind to the title just thought it would be pretty catchy…. ;). Also makes a great header for this next topic of gaining free exposure…well almost free.
I don’t know how many of you have considered sponsorship. Not like your everyday sponsor a team or an artist because I recieve many of them through my website and myspace.
So the idea sprung about while I was in the mall and some kids were selling raffle tickets for a dollar to win random prizes and with each ticket there was a flyer with all the sponsoring companies attached…..so the idea struck! It is such a simple idea I thought too myself why haven’t I promoted using sponsorships and remembered how most just wanted free clothes or some of my hard-earned money. So I spoke with the company promoting the raffle and asked would they be needing any sponsorship for the next go-round….they said yes. They told me all I needed to provide was my company location/website and my donation prize, which was any company product I wanted to give away as a prize. Thats all on my end. No strings attached other than a few dollars in the amount of a giveaway prize (t-shirts/hat wholesale value about $30) and I recieved the free promotion from the THOUSANDS of flyers they handed out for promotion and their company website and on the local radio announcements for the winners and company raffle sponsors. Plus the raffle was for charity by a well-known business and in return makes your business look more connected and well established.
In the end I recieved some new customers, some orders/exposure on the company website and a positive outlook in the media!

I already heard from these flyer marketing its a good idea if u need sponsors and it really works.

this also help me out i paid local rappers to do a shout-out on they cd,or i give them a free tee for a shout out spot on they album,so far i done shout out for local rappers so far and they end up selling over 2,000 cds or more thru out the year easy marketing!!
