The Apparel Tech Conference is produced by Apparel Magazine and hosted?by Fashion Institute of Technology in?New York. I’m pretty sure you are familiar with FITthey are one of the more highly praised fashion design schools. I actually spoke to one of my teachers from AIU and she has agreed to become a contributor to Dobizo. Most of her articles will be dealing with fashion show production and accessories design. The reason I brought her up is because she is attending FIT for a degree in the special area of leather design and production. Her stint on How to start a clothing line will begin in August. I am trying to make Dobizo as well rounded as possible covering all areas.

The Apparel Tech Conference will have 30 educational seminars over a two day period discussing design and product development, manufacturing, information technology, sourcing, logistics, transportation, and retailing. Immediately following the seminar there will be a networking session for all attendees. It will all go down on November 7-8, 2007.
