Thanks for the heads up, Fred! I MUST work this in the budget. Especially since local. Looking at the course lineup, the information she will give will be priceless. And…the fees seem pretty inexpensive, especially if you consider her HIGH consulting fees! I hope others will join me. I’ll be sure to post any “Jewels” that I learn of.
Thx again!

Yeah you saw those consulting fees also??!!?

She must be real good to command fees like that. And we wonder why it is getting expensive to manufacture domestically.
There are plenty of people out there with many more years of relevant industry experience that charge a lot less than she does. I don’t see what all the fuss is about.

I know that is what we were wondering about…why such outrageous fees!
October 12th, 2007 at 2:07 pm
Because she is very good at self promotion I suppose. I had to laugh at her schedule of fees.3 grand retainer, only will fly business class, only stays at 5 Star hotels and needs 300 bucks a day per diem.
I thought only designers thought of themselves as prima donas.
And this just impresses the hell out of me. She has Jay McCarrol offering a testimonial. Last I checked , Jay was homeless, has told the NY Times he has no idea how to get a collection made, and that Project Runway put him on the road to ruin.

Ok, guys! You are cold! *BRRRR!!!* ; )
Before I go chipping of this bit of change, (I could do a whole lot with $250), do you think I should go for it? I think someone from the WCoast should go with me so we BOTH can be the test dummies! ; ) She does think rather highly of herself, (which isn’t a bad thing. Shoot…if you don’t toot your own horn, then who will???), but if she delivers on the goods, then I would consider it to be a good investment. I know, I know. Its up to me. 2 days to think about it! (Disc offered thru 10/15) Hmmm…..???

Iwasn’t discounting the $250.00 seminar fee individuals pay, I was just astonished at how much she charges for putting on a seminar. Hey if you and 300 others get anything out of it, it’s your money. I just had a look at some of the time allotted to cover topics. Some key areas get 30 minutes, some an hour. Any time set aside for questions ? Does format allow questions ?

Yes there is time alloted afted each session for questions(30 min). I am considering going to the seminar in New York and I was also conserned with time allotted to certain topics.
