While I’m not sure if the above is a true statement, but I’m guessing it’s there “claim to fame”. On the site they state also that they are the makers of the world?s most versatile and technologically advanced UPS.

In the mid 1960’s, the Swedish apparel industry a number of cost related problems and the need for quicker delivery times was a must. Sewers were wasting too much time on carrying and handling material instead of sewing and money being tied up in work in progress, but nothing was being completed in a timely manner.

All these reasons prompted Eton to develop the Eton System or?what the apparel industry widely knows it as UPS.
