This marks the fourth installment of the Ceo Audio Series. This time with Winston Brown creator of the highly successful DVD How to succeed In Urban Fashion, which is available on Amazon. Winston Brown also a former clothing label owner frustrated with the lack of information in the fashion field decided to take matters into his own hands and produce his first DVD How to Succeed in Urban Fashion. The follow up Fashion Biz 101 slated to release in Fall.
In this interview Winston talked about trends in the fashion industry. How he financed his clothing company and his fashion film. What obstacles he faced when starting his clothing company and film. The importance of surrounding yourself with positive people and how to build a strong foundation. Also key points or memorable advice and tips from successful fashion designers included in the film How to succeed in urban fashion and much, much more. The interview is chock full of sound advice and simple tips for any apparel entrepreneur. Overall this was a good Ceo Audio with good advice from a person making strides in the fashion industry.

My bad, i forgot to change my e-mail address, i just bought a new computer and got a new internet service.You would think i would know how to retrieve my e-mails,but i don’t…i will have my wife get it for me this morning…Thanks

Yeah I bought the DVD which I think I purchased when the price was 24.95. And when I got it, immediately thought it was worth the money. The extras on the DVD alone were worth the $$. I think it’s funny now to watch it and hear from companies like Undercrown that you’d NEVER see their company name on their clothing…but look at em now. I guess they ran out of ideas.
Great film. Highly reccommended. Once you watch it, you really wanna get your shit together and get to selling your product.

Excellent interviews! All of them ! I am so thankfull there is a site like this it seems to me a ginuine effort to help everyone succeed. I have to say right at this time in my life I am working 2 jobs because I want the better things in life and so far I am not burned out. I have basically just been doing research and little internet site with cafepress, just to practice. I just recently obtained photoshop and illustrator. Learnng is somewhat of a task but I plan on buying this dvd http://www.photoshoptopsecret.com/ to learn a lot more on design.. I am saving right now but I am going with Cody Murrays advice and investing 30 to 40k in my line (with Raw Talent). I do have drive, and I will do what ever it takes to be successful. I am currently employed at MDC in Woodland Hills which is downstairs from Magic show’s Corporate office. I plan on doing an intern their on the weekends as a third job and slowly but surely learn everything there is to know about the fashion industry so that I make a big impact when I do finally arrive with a name for myself.

Just got the How to survive in Urban Fashion DVD . All I have to say is one word four syllables Phe-nom-en-al. I definately will reccomend this to any one I know with the same endevors.

I want to thank everyone for their support of my first documentary,”How To Succeed In Urban Fashion.” I made it for all of you, who like me, want to get started in the industry, but don’t know how. I am currently shooting a new DVD to replace this one called, “Jeans & T-Shirts” due out the spring of 08′. I got into a real shady distribution situation with the first film, so I am revamping the DVD with a new situation, and it will be bigger and better. I hope that you all continue to follow me on my quest to bring the best info on success in the urban fashion industry with “Jeans & T-Shirts.” Thank you again.
