I was just reading through the forum and ran into a post about women’s fashion that was in full discussion, which if you haven’t joined you should definitely sign up for FREE today.

The topic was the lack of good female (urban) clothing lines, which I agree to a certain extent…because again it depends on which category of clothing you are referring to also. Because their are some better quality brands that have been thriving for years and you can’t deny their talent.

Then I ran across the clothing line Joey Tierney and from the description (Rock style with a sophisticated look) the member made it sounded like it could be worth the time to take a second look.

On her site she describes her clothing line which is self named Joey Tierney rock meets high society. The clothing line wasn’t her first apparel endeavor, because she released a skirt line along with IMG Mercedes Benz called Joey and T. Joey was credited the “Darling of Fashion Week” by The Daily and gained critical acclaim in the fashion industry and also tour stylist for celebrities including Britney Spears.

If the above isn’t enough credibility to back up the price of this seminar than I don’t know what is :) . The seminar will be held on August 18, 2007 from 10-5pm in the Clift Hotel and you can register through Paypal on her site for $450.

What will you get for $450?

One on One question and answer session with Joey Tierney herself about design, styling and fashion

  • The A-Z on styling and finding your own creative mark in the fashion industry
  • How to network in the fashion industry
  • How to handle the responsibilities, stress, and extreme intense work environments
  • How to style different needs of clients ranging from commercials, advertising, music videos, editorial/print, celebrity, magazines and of course the red carpet
  • Tips on buying, shopping, designing, pulling and prepping
  • Each attendee receives a fashion styling workbook and a starter styling kit to assist you in your exciting career in the fashion industry

Well there you go folks! I think the rest of this is up to you and if you would like to shell out $450, but remember it is an investment in your future in the apparel industry ;) .
