What up CEO? Now I know that advertising dollars can help you fuel the fire… but do you honestly trust a company who has a logo and website such as SNE. I mean… the stock art they use for their site is hillarious. And would you trust a site that calls themselves “assisting in design. and has a website whose design is less than average. Why don’t you tell them to give us a their long list of companies they have helped out. Or better yet, why don’t they hold up a sign of their studio displaying the words “www.dobizo.com” …. LOL Keep it real with the readers Fam ~~

Hussel-
Always keep it as transparent as possible…no reason to not “keep it real”. For some reason you have a tendency to try and challenge my word…I have spoke with the company and they were referred to me from another party, but if it will help you sleep better at night I will get them to hold up a sign with http://www.dobizo.com for you hussell.
If you think I’m not keeping it real than I’m not forcing you to believe me….It’s not llike I’m charging any reader for the information available on the site…I do it by choice and enjoyment…not because I owe anyone.
Craig-
LLC means limited liability corporation.

Fred,
Nothing wrong with bringing on sponsors and bringing in revenues, but I would throw caution to the wind until SNE can be substantiated either by client testemonials or you yourself give them the thorough once over.
Immediately a red flag goes up as they do not divulge where they are located. Where do they manufacture ? Under what conditions ? Are they glorified agents shopping orders around the world ? How much actual manufacturing experience do they have ? This is very important stuff to know.
That’s what it looks like to me. Be cautious Fred. Even though it is income to you, an unscrupulous sourcing company can harm this blog and the all the hard work you have put in.
As I have said before, the forum aspect of your blog is going to immensely help designers to develop. Why not ask them to contribute and answer some questions. We might be able to see if they are good or not . They do advertise, but why not ask them to pay some dues in other ways?

Thanks that’s the kind of feedback I need. Great recommendations and I will definitely try to get right on it and see about the forum aspect of your suggestions.

Hi,
I ‘m New to the site and scene. But,I concur with what Fred & the other guy said.
I’ve been designing artwork for 16 plus years.I run into my share of fly by day people/businesses
that say they do this etcetera.Unfortunately that’s business & life.I know you’ll be leary!.
At the end of the day No-one wants to lose their business, resources and respect cause they
didn’t take time to Research the What if-pitfall?!.

I’m glad there are some others that see my point !! I wasn’t hating or challenging Fred’s words. I just didn’ think this company has proven worthy of the time and effort that Fred has put into this blog. I mean the other company that Fred had , has some of the lowest minimums in the business. Within hours, they sent photos confirming that they are a a legitimate company. In each photo, they had a card with the date, time, their company info , as well as my company name. I had them do this on my own, but quickly shared the info with Fred, who in return posted the info to share with you guys. All in all, the blog is well established now…so these companies need to show us what they’re working with. There are buyers on our end…

I still need to think you have to ask them some hard questions. Are they a sourcing agency, are they a “designhouse” with a patternmaker down the street, do they own any brick and mortar factories ?
Anyone can walk into a factory hold up a piece a paper with a brands name on it, photograph it . In this business when you suddenly blast onto the scene like they have, be prepared to back it up.If not , declare what you are, and let a business relationship begin. We understand everyone has to start somewhere. That is what this blog is about.
But one thing is certain. Many new designers can get jerked around by companies like this,so that many don’t bother returning thinking this mode of operation is standard.
I do hope they turn out to be good for your blog and new designers in general. Designers have much at stake and some have only one chance. Aligning with a firm like this could make or break them.
