I’ve been speaking to some buyers from stores around the country while attending a few fashion shows and trade shows (also over the phone). Mostly are small stores who cater to smaller brands who are under the radar, but also carry more popular brands in the apparel industry. I received a lot of the same feedback from them on what they are looking for in a brand when deciding to place an order. Most talked a lot about how there is less originality in brands of today and if they are creative they take it over board and just think they’re on some next level shit, when that’s not the case. Countless lines using skulls, wings, and crowns as logos or incorporated in every design. Also how they get approached by lines consisting of nothing, but screenprinted t-shirts. Not really saying they have nothing but t-shirts, but how they are not stepping it up a notch and using other applications or embellishments to design. Just a little heads up, but I don’t know seems like the days where any kid with photoshop can sell shirts to a store is coming to an end.

I feel you when you say it is time for a change I am with you 100%. I have two daughters ages 6 and 9. I don’t understand how some of these women come outside looking the way they do. TV plays on a lot of things, for instance look at models women are starving themselves to be skin and bones. I am always told that am a very pretty young lady with golden colored skin. I don’t do anything to enhance my beauty I am very natural. I have been fat medium and small, but I am lead to believe that is the average women with children or in general. I have also been told you have to be at least 5”6 to model whose idea was this, I mean that is totally unfair to a women who has a dream crushed because she not tall and boney. It is time for a change!!!!!!!!!
