Here at Dobizo we like to make sure our readers have a hands up on the competition.
So it is about that time again for an annual trend report from our readers on what you think will be in from womens, children’s, and the menswear fashion industry.
Let’s talk about trends from this year and what you think will carry on to the next seasons and what is down for the count or going out of style for Spring/Summer 2008. Also predict what is going to be the next big trend in your opinion.

I think the mens two breasted/pockets flannel shirts are going to be a new trend amongst street wear and sportswear lines. I’ve been seeing many variations from lines ranging from Tommy Hilfiger to Akademiks which are in two different categories.

what i think:
mens - I agree with “Fashion friend” with the 2 pocket button ups. Also more artistic graphic tees. and track jackets instead of hoodies. military influenced cut n sew tops and jackets.
womens - tweed shorts with boots, cropped jackets. and a little chic bohemian (spelling?) i saw this all over hong kong this summer so it will be in full effect here this summer.
childrens - all over prints, rock n roll graphics, little indie punk styles like tight black denim
good subject, what about kids Fall 08? that’s what I am working on right now

I think the skulls and crowns are gon and i think we will see more art inspired clothing more graphic tees as stated b4 ans i also agree with the 2pocket button ups

i like the trend for 08 is more colors ,like bright colors for the men,like babyblue tee with hot pink and white graphics witch is getting big now thanks to parish-nation clothing

once agian by looking at this rap crossing over to pop culture and stake rock,i really think it will be more bright colors like baby blue hot pink and royal blue and silver fa’sho!!!

I predict it will be tough year for retailers in general and the recession we do find ourselves in will have a profound affect on what we buy.
Look for some brands to have tough years, with a few very surprising bankruptcies or financial restructuring. Look for some big retailers to close locations and reduce square footage.
If you stand a chance at having a good year, you will need to bring some outstanding clothing to the party as everyone is clamping the pocketbooks shut and it will take much persuasion to get them opened up again.

now i wear stright vintage lee jeans, a white cotton fred perry tshirt and a pair of adidas adilette sandals. i feel ready for the summer.

most customers run to stores like burlington coat factory and tjmax and ross for urban gear and it hurts alot of small urban retailers aka mom and pops stores the only way to defeat this problem is to sell low with great product ,,put your self as a customer if i didnt have my own line i would be at tjmax faithfully ,but i try to low my prices a wholesale but sell retail i rather make $6 buck profit over and over instead of making $10 profit only 1 time or 2 times not over and over u feel me? comment back some 1
