I can tell you one thing that I really liked about AIU Buckhead (Atlanta) is that we received entry to the database of online research sources and access to all the insider fashion industry networks for free…well it was probably factored into our tuition.

WGSN was one of them that I found very useful, but unfortunately it is also rather expensive. Anything worth its weight usually is right? WGSN is the world’s leading online research, trend analysis and news service for the fashion and style industry at least that is what their site heading says. I totally agree from some of the information I received from researching their database and most was pre-launch of my clothing line.

WGSN offers information on every segment of the fashion industry from retail to the catwalk and more. Latest news on design trends in womens wear to what new brands all the celebrities are checking for.

During a quick run through of the site…now as a non-subscriber you can see small pieces of each section of the site and for more you have to send them more information in order to subscribe. The subscription prices are not openly listed on the site, probably because it would scare most companies off, before knowing all the information the site has to offer. Once you click for more the site prompts you to enter information about your company so they can contact you and give you a run through of what the site is capable of doing for your company that is most likely in the fashion or style industry.
