What gives them more credibility and relevance is the fact that this is the actual college I attended. American Intercontinental University is a college that provides degrees ranging from associate to a Masters level on fashion, media production, criminal justice, interior design, visual communication and international business with schools in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dubai, London, Florida, and Texas.

I decided to take a trip to AIU the Buckhead, Atlanta campus to see the changes to the location and visit some of my old professors and peers. Many of the teachers who were there when I attended are on leave or were not teaching that semester, but I did get to meet the new teachers to the programs. Plus I wanted to meet some of the faculty that I have been in contact with through emails and now can put a face with the email.

I must say AIU is one of the most culturally diverse colleges I have attended because the student body is made up of many different ethnic groups and people from many different countries. I think it makes for a full rounded experience because the fashion industry itself is a diverse industry that influences many races and cultures.

I also want to get your opinion on fashion colleges and if the tuition, fees and time you put into a degree is worth it or for the entrepreneur at heart? Because from my experience fashion colleges generally teach the fundamental and technical aspects of the fashion industry, but rarely talk about the entrepreneurial side of starting and operating a clothing company other than maybe finances, but still from a more technical side.
