Zafu is a very innovative company that simply has taken advantage of a much needed improvement in the womens wear market. We all know women can be very particular about how that favorite pair of jeans fit and once they find a pair that fits just right their a customer for life.
Zafu is a company that matches jeans and bras to a person, but it is not as simple as it sounds let me explain.
In a nutshell Zafu uses an algorithm & fit research to gather data and then have women answer a few simple questions and use their answers to find clothing brands that would provide the best fit for their body type.
Zafu is made up of a small 5 person team working out of Emeryville, California there perfect fit is drawn from experience in the above mentioned areas where they have tested, assessed, measured and photograph thousands of women in different bra and jeans brands.
Some of the questions women are asked to determine pants size are below each have illustrations and anywhere from 3-4 answers :
- Waist Gap (Do jeans usually gap at the waist)
- Waist Fit ( Do jeans usually fit your waist)
- Waist Shape (Defined, Average, Undefined)
- Seat Shape (What Butt-shape is similar to your own)
- Thigh (Full, Average, Slim or Athletic)
- Statistics (Favorite Brands, Typical Jean Size, Length, Height,Weight, Age Group)
- Wishlist (What do you want the jeans to do to your body? Perky butt, big butt look smaller, no saddle bags, muffin tops, straight figure look curvy…you get the picture)
- Finally the rise (Super low, low, Just below, At waist)
Do you think this is a good idea for the womens market? Leave your thoughts.
